Cassy Karcher
​Hi! My name is Cassy Karcher, Owner and Trainer of FemmeFit 618 and I am so glad you’ve decided to check out our facility and join the tribe. I opened this gym with the hopes that I could create an inclusive community for women who want to better their health and make friends along the way. You see, back in 2012 when I started my weight loss journey, this is the type of support I wish I would’ve had access to. I was 100 lbs overweight, had been heavy all my life and walked the journey alone, bouncing from home workouts and from gym to gym in Mt. Vernon, but none of it ever felt right.
Although I struggled to lose the weight on my own, I finally met my goal and continued maintaining for a few years until life had other plans for me. In 2015, I became very ill and had to have a brain surgery for a condition called Chiari Malformation. This was life changing for me because it made me realize that life was too short and that I needed to spend my time here on Earth helping others reach for better health. I became certified through NASM as a personal trainer in 2017 and worked at a local gym before deciding to venture out on my own and open FemmeFit. My goal is to continue teaching, encouraging, and helping others in their fitness journeys as long as I can. Eventually, I’d love to do more training for people with health issues like mine and other disabilities as well as use the gym to give back to our community.
